This is where the church begins.
• Not with a building.
• Not with a program.
• Not with an organization.
The church begins with people being transformed by Jesus Christ.

The church must never lose its commitment to the gospel.
We can have:
• great music
• excellent programs
• community events
• children's ministries
• Bible studies
• outreach programs
But none of these can replace the gospel.

Joel 2:32: “For ‘Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’”

Notice the absolute scope of that word: Whoever.

• It does not say "whoever is educated enough."
• It does not say "whoever has a clean past."
• It does not say "whoever is from the right nation or family."

The gospel levels the ground at the foot of the cross. Salvation is not a reward earned by human achievement; it is a gift received through simple, humble surrender. To "call on the name of the Lord" means to abandon self-reliance, admit spiritual poverty, and throw yourself entirely upon the mercy and lordship of Jesus Christ. Because only through Him are we able to be Saved.

We should never desire the gifts, blessings, deliverances and anointing of God more than we desire God Himself. When we want the gifts more than the Giver, we make the gift our God and the place the Giver (God) second place in our hearts. Let this not be said of us.

Matthew 6:33 KJV
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Sin is more than a mere mistake. It is failing to be who God created you to be and walking in the full righteousness that He supplied to you through the death of His son Jesus Christ.

God created man in His image to bear His righteous likeness out in their character words & work for His glory here on Earth.

But many fall short not because we are unable, but because of what is in our hearts. We have a sin nature and the only way to empty that nature is to fill it with the presence and filling of the Holy Spirit through pray, fasting and reading His word.

You want to walk in the fullness of who God created you to be? Then get your heart into position to be filled by the one who created it. God made you for His glory. Turn your heart over to Him today
