Throwback Thursday! 🚤☀️

Throwing it back to August 8th, when the men of Eastside Community Church traded the usual routine for a day out on the water!

It was a great day of boating, fellowship, good conversation, and Godly men. We’re thankful for opportunities like these to build friendships, strengthen community, and simply enjoy time together.

Praise God for good company, and a great day on the water! 🌊

What a wonderful day at Eastside! 🙌

We’re so grateful for everyone who joined us for our Missions Luncheon as we celebrated what God is doing through missions—both here at Eastside and around the world. 🌎❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the luncheon such a success, and to all who continue to pray, give, serve, and go. We’re excited to see how God continues to use all of us here at Eastside to share the hope of Jesus with others!

What a great afternoon at our Children’s Ministry Volunteer Luncheon!

Our theme was “Puzzle Pieces,” reminding us that each volunteer brings unique gifts to Children’s Ministry. We celebrated with lunch and some fun “Silly Awards,” reflected on where God has brought us, and shared our vision for the upcoming school year as we continue partnering with parents in the faith formation of their children.

We’re excited to kick off our new Children’s Ministry year on Sunday, August 16! Children moving up to a new class will begin that morning, and parents will receive an email with class information beforehand. We can’t wait to see all that God has in store this year!

This past weekend, it was our privilege to host the Koinonia Conference for the Southeastern Hispanic Ministries of the Evangelical Free Church of America.

We are thankful for the pastors, ministry leaders, and church members who gathered for a time of worship, encouragement, fellowship, and equipping for the work of the gospel. It was a joy to see brothers and sisters in Christ united around God's Word and His mission.

A special thank you to our church family and volunteers whose faithful service and hospitality helped make this event possible. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and partner with what God is doing through Hispanic ministries across our region.

As everyone returns to their churches and communities, we pray that the Lord will continue to strengthen, encourage, and use each ministry for His glory. May the connections made and truths shared this weekend bear fruit for years to come.

💦 What a splash-tastic weekend at Water Fun Day 2026! From water slides and games to laughter and great memories, our Eastside family had an incredible time cooling off and enjoying fellowship together. Thank you to everyone who came out and made such a big splash—we're already looking forward to next year!

What a special weekend at Eastside Community Church! From Friday night through Saturday morning, we were so blessed by a powerful time of fellowship, worship, and teaching centered on “Stand Fast: Faithful Women in an Unsteady World.” A heartfelt thank you to every woman who came and made the time to be there, to all who served and worked behind the scenes to make it happen, and to Robin St. Denis for sharing such encouraging and truth-filled teaching. It was a meaningful and refreshing time together, and we’re so grateful for the community that showed up and poured into it!

Yesterday, Heather made a bold and beautiful public declaration of her faith through baptism at Eastside Community Church. Standing before her church family, she shared the life-changing decision to follow Jesus—an outward expression of the inward transformation God has done in her heart. We’re celebrating this step with you, Heather! 🙌💙
