God's divine power has given us everything we need to live a truly religious life through our knowledge of the one who called us to share in his own glory and goodness. In this way he has given us the very great and precious gifts he promised, so that by means of these gifts you may escape from the destructive lust that is in the world, and may come to share the divine nature. For this very reason do your best to add goodness to your faith; to your goodness add knowledge; to your knowledge add self-control; to your self-control add endurance; to your endurance add godliness; to your godliness add Christian affection; and to your Christian affection add love. These are the qualities you need, and if you have them in abundance, they will make you active and effective in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But those who do not have them are so short-sighted that they cannot see and have forgotten that they have been purified from their past sins. So then, my brothers and sisters, try even harder to make God's call and his choice of you a permanent experience; if you do so, you will never abandon your faith. In this way you will be given the full right to enter the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Everything you have is a gift from God. Share it when He asks you and with whom He tells you. Obedience is better than sacrifice. You might say I don't know how to hear God. Learn by spending time with Him! Sooner or later you will hear Him. Tune out the noise of this world!

From the above scripture, we can see how Jesus worked out His destiny.

I heard one the great teachers of our time, the late Dr Myles Monroe, say that God finishes everything before He starts, hence, 'the Lamb was slain from the foundation of the world', 'God knows our end from our beginning', 'before I formed you in your mother's belly, I knew you'. I can go on and on, but there's no need to.

In the shoes of every destiny, God has worked and still working (mystery). The ongoing workings can be seen in heaven. Jesus visited (visited is not the right word. He Was with the Father at all times to see Him work). He saw His Father doing the work. He did exactly as He saw.

You and I can not fulfill our destinies any other way. In fact Jesus said it, in John 14:12, the works He did we shall do also. If we take our eyes off of this world system, built around the knowledge of good and evil, and focus them on our Father to get the knowledge of only Good, we will succeed.

The only way we can build a strong, unified body of Christ is to rediscover where we are (in Him), and to be aware of our surroundings (heaven in and around us). Then we can see the Father and Jesus working, by the Holy Spirit, and do the same. Our decisions will be perfect to produce perfect results. We then will operate in the spirit of Prophecy which is the Spirit of Christ.

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Man became a living soul! This is man without Jesus - 'a living soul'. The Spirit in you (while you were in Adam) went back to God, because of sin, and because the Spirit belongs to God.

Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 KJV

The soul is who you are and what manifests in your actions. This is the fallen man! This is what interprets your five senses! You feel pain here etc.

The soul is what needs to be saved from going to hell. Yes hell is real and heaven is real! Make no mistakes about it!

When we receive Jesus as Savior, the Spirit of God comes back into us (John 20:22). Through proper Spiritual nourishment (reading and meditating on the Word of God - Joshua 1:8) and prayer (communion with God - Luke 18:1), our souls begin to learn to submit to the Spirit in us, from where our directions come - Romans 8:14. This is when we become mature Sons of God.

When the above process is complete (the soul completely submitted to the Spirit), we can then arise and shine for then the Light in us can come forth. For what reason? Matthew 10:7-8. (Read for yourself). And
to obtain our inheritance - everything Jesus died and paid for, beginning with, a) doing the work of God, b) walking in health, and so on - EVERYTHING.

This process is sped up by the Baptism of the Holy Spirit! Luke 24:49 (promise). Acts 1:8 (promise), Acts 2:1-4 (the manifestation of the promise!)

Believers this is what we strive for. This is what takes us from having Faith in God to having The Faith of God (Mark 11:22 - correct translation). The world and all of God's creation are waiting for the the manifestation of the sons of God, with moaning and groaning. Why? They are subjected to corruption and decay. Only the Sons of God can deliver them!

I who dwell in the shelter of the Most High abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
