Last week, our students returned from a meaningful trip where they experienced deep connection, personal growth, and a closer walk with God. But this experience was only possible because of the incredible generosity and support of our church family.
A special thank you goes to our congregation, whose faithful giving made it all happen. From supporting the Envelop Fundraiser in the fall, to showing up and participating in our Spaghetti Dinner—where our students themselves cooked and served meals—your generosity directly turned into moments of transformation for our youth. Every plate served helped send them on this journey.
We are also deeply grateful to everyone who played a role behind the scenes:
To Raymond Zalusky, Jennifer Kilgore, Keaton Griffith, and Jaimie Shires, our chaperones, for caring for the students all week—driving, cooking, cleaning, leading conversations, and being a constant source of support and care.
To Steve Vanaugh, for ensuring the bus was fully prepared and ready for travel.
To Kathy Millard, for creating the bulletin and serving as a reliable home base connection.
To the parents of our youth, for supporting fundraisers and encouraging their teens throughout the process.
To the Production Team, for adapting with excellence and making every part of worship run smoothly.
And to the band and choir, for leading worship and helping create a powerful and meaningful Sunday service.
This trip stands as a reminder that when a church comes together in generosity and service, students don’t just attend an event—they are invested in, cared for, and transformed.
