“The Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve.” — Matthew 20:28

Jesus didn’t just teach us what it means to serve—He showed us.

ENGAGE is an invitation to follow His example: to serve with humility, use our gifts, care for our community, and make a difference where we are needed.

As part of that call to serve, Mary Alderman invites us to join our community food drive from September 6–20, collecting canned and non-perishable food to support Arlington Community Services. Our goal is to collect 1,000 pounds of food—and every donation can help us get there.

Because serving isn’t about what we get in return. It’s about what we can give.
