First Tabernacle Beth El - Jacksonville, Florida Our religious organization adheres to the tenets of Judaism. Anchored in the principles of a love for The Tabernacle with the Golden Doors.

The Saints with the Golden Hearts. Our mission is to exemplify love for the Source of All Life, the I AM THAT I AM, by loving our neighbors as ourselves. As it states in 1 John 5: 3 “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments:” We understand that the only way one can show they love God is by keeping his commandments (Exodus 20:1-17), and by treating others as they would like to be treated.

Proverbs 3:7 (KJV) – “Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.”

“Being wise in one’s own eyes” represents reliance on one's own limited intellect rather than divine wisdom. The lower mind (ego) believes in self-sufficiency, often mistaking knowledge for wisdom. However, true wisdom comes from spiritual understanding, which surpasses human reasoning.

On this day of Thanksgiving, let us lift our voices in gratitude to the Eternal, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, for His unending mercies and abundant blessings. May we remember that every good gift comes from Him, who has sustained us through trials and triumphs.

As we gather with loved ones in fellowship, let us reflect on His commandments, cherish our familial bonds, and rededicate ourselves to walking in His ways. May this day remind us of our calling to be a light to the nations, a people set apart for His glory.

Give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good, and His mercy endureth forever!
