Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, is a powerful celebration of African American freedom and resilience.

Heres are 3 interesting facts as it relates to today!!

1. The First Juneteenth Celebration Was in 1866.

2. Juneteenth Is the Oldest Known Celebration of the End of Slavery in the U.S.

3. It Became a Federal Holiday in 2021.

Today, we will have Sunday School at 9:30 AM.

Immediately following our 9:30 AM Sunday School classes, we will be worshipping with our brothers and sisters in Christ at New Life Fellowship Church for our morning service.
