What Did You Learn In Kidz Zone?

We asked a few of our Kidz Zone kids what they learned in class, and their answers reminded us why teaching our children God’s Word matters.

Every Sunday, they’re learning, growing, and building a foundation they can carry with them.

There’s a place for your little one here, too.

Until then…

🔥 OBEDIENCE WILL PUT YOU IN THE FIRE… BUT GOD WILL MEET YOU THERE! 🔥

It’s Sunday at The Father’s House Kingdom Ministries, and WHEW… TODAY! 🙌🏾😭🔥

Today was special from beginning to end. It was Communion Sunday, where we paused to remember, honor, and give thanks for the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross. ❤️

And then we had the beautiful privilege of celebrating Baby Dedication Sunday. 🥹👶🏾 There is something so powerful about families standing before God and saying, “Lord, this child belongs to You. Help us raise them for Your glory.”

But the Holy Spirit wasn’t finished. 🔥

From the parking lot to the Kidz Zone, from worship to the Word, His presence filled the house!

Today’s message, “Obedience Put You in the Fire,” took us to Daniel 3:12–30 and the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

They refused to bow.

And their obedience didn’t keep them OUT of the fire — their obedience put them IN it.

WHEW. 😮‍💨🔥

Sometimes we think obedience means everything will immediately become easier. But sometimes obedience will cost you. Sometimes standing for God will make you stand out. Sometimes doing what is RIGHT will put you in an uncomfortable place.

But here is the GOOD NEWS:

🔥 The fire did not destroy them.
🔥 What bound them was burned off.
🔥 And they were not in the fire alone.

The same God who allowed them to enter the furnace met them inside of it.

So if obedience has you standing somewhere uncomfortable right now, DON’T BOW.

God is still with you.
God is still faithful.
And the fire does NOT get the final word! 🙌🏾🔥

What a Sunday. What a reminder. What a mighty God we serve!

God’s Word. Real People. Real Life.

Partners listen...
Bible study was awesome last night but guess what, it doesn't stop. Here's another scenario for you to see how would you respond. Provide your answer in the comments.

SCENARIO: YOU EMBARRASSED ME IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY

You are serving on a ministry team at church. During a leadership meeting, about fifteen people are sitting around the table discussing an upcoming event. You make a suggestion about how something should be handled. Before you can finish explaining your idea, another ministry leader interrupts you and says in front of everybody:

“That right there is exactly why we keep having problems. You don't listen, you always think your way is the best way, and then everybody else has to clean up the mess.” The room gets quiet. Nobody says anything. You are embarrassed. You feel disrespected.

Later that evening, your phone rings. It is the person who embarrassed you. They say:

“I've been thinking about what happened at the meeting. I was wrong. I should not have spoken to you like that, especially in front of everybody. I was frustrated, but that didn't give me the right to disrespect you. I'm sorry. Will you forgive me?”

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO? 🤔

A: Receive their apology and forgive them, but explain that because the disrespect happened publicly, you believe the apology should also happen publicly so the people who witnessed the offense can witness the correction.

B: Receive their apology and forgive them privately. Do not require anything publicly unless the comments created actual confusion or damage that still needs to be corrected.

C: Receive their apology and forgive them, then ask them what they believe should be done about the people who witnessed what happened before deciding whether a public response is necessary.

D: Receive their apology and forgive them, while asking leadership to determine whether some form of public clarification would best repair the situation without unnecessarily embarrassing the person who apologized.
