🌟 TEACHER SPOTLIGHT: APRIL BIRK 🌟

👩‍🏫 Meet Mrs. Birk!

Mrs. Birk teaches PE, Health, and Technology and has been part of the St. Paul family for 6 years! She became a teacher because she loves being around kids, getting to know their personalities, making them laugh, and being a small part of their growth.

❤️ A Few Fun Facts About Mrs. Birk:
✈️ She loves traveling with her family.
🎬 Watching movies together is a favorite family activity.
🌮 She enjoys going out to eat—especially at Mexican restaurants!
👯‍♀️ And here’s a fun fact: Mrs. Birk has a twin sister!

✝️ Faith & Teaching
Mrs. Birk's favorite Bible verse is 2 Timothy 1:7, which reminds her that God does not want us to live in fear, but gives us strength, love, and a sound mind.

Her faith in Jesus is a big part of why she teaches. She wants her students to know that they are loved by God as they grow in their faith and become kind and caring people.

🏃‍♀️ A Perfect Fit for PE!
It may come as no surprise that Mrs. Birk's favorite subject in elementary school was PE! She loved being active, playing games, and having fun with her classmates—and that love eventually helped lead her to become a PE teacher!

💙 Her Hope for Her Students
Mrs. Birk hopes her students learn to be kind, confident, and willing to try new things. She also hopes they grow in their faith, build strong relationships, and always know that they are loved and capable.

Back-To-School Dance: Know before you go!

We’re just two days away! Here’s what parents need to know:

Friday, September 4th
Dance: 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Drop Off: 6:00 – 6:30 pm
Pick Up: 8:30 – 9:00 pm
St. Paul School Gym
Students must bring signed permission slip! Valid ID at Pick Up!

Dress: Casual; school – appropriate clothing

Light refreshments will be available for purchase
