Message: Overcomers vs Achievers (the Supernatural series)

Text: Revelation 12:7-11
7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:

“Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.
11 They triumphed over him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.

Introduction: as a Christian it is important to learn that in our journey it is not what we achieve but what we overcome. Many times in life there are many of us that have great achievements and high moral failings because we did not focus on overcoming. It is not what we achieve that causes us great harm but what we fail to not overcome.

The Holy Spirit & The Word of God (Supernatural Series)

Introduction: as a Christian it is vital to know and understand the importance of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God and how they work together and even their distinction regarding their purpose.

2 Timothy 3:10-17

10 But you have followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, and endurance, 11 along with the persecutions and sufferings that came to me in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. What persecutions I endured—and yet the Lord rescued me from them all. 12 In fact, all who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. 13 Evil people and impostors will become worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and firmly believed. You know those who taught you, 15 and you know that from infancy you have known the sacred Scriptures, which are able to give you wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is inspired by God[a] and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

Exodus 34:7
7 maintaining faithful love to a thousand generations, forgiving iniquity, rebellion, and sin. But he will not leave the guilty unpunished, bringing the consequences of the fathers’ iniquity on the children and grandchildren to the third and fourth generation.

Isaiah 53:5
5 But he was pierced because of our rebellion,
crushed because of our iniquities;
punishment for our peace was on him,
and we are healed by his wounds.

20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world,[a] in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

Introduction: as a Christian it is important that we possess His name and His nature not only a Christian in name only.

A Biblical Mother - The Fifth Commandment

Text: Exodus 20:12
Supporting Ephesians 6:2

Introduction: as a Mother it needs to be understood that God is the one that gives you that capacity to be a mother. So a mother must be a Godly woman that is a Christian who through a dimension of the unconditional love of God is enveloped within them.
Ex 20:12
12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

Eph 6:2
2 “Honor your father and mother” (this is the first commandment )
