Summer Camp Day 2 was out of this world! 🪐

Today campers had fun swimming and we learned more about WHY God had to send a rescuer (Jesus).

We learned about how sin first entered into the world through Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, but how Jesus came to restore everything that was broken through His death AND resurection. We call this the gospel which means GOOD NEWS!

Students have done a great job learning our memory verse for the week: 👑
"God has rescued us from the power of darkness and has brought us into the kingdom of his Son." Colossians 1:13

Summer Camp Day 1 was a blast! 🚀

We had fun learning about how God always keeps His promises-like the promise that He made to Abraham. How Abraham would have so many children-too many to count, like the stars in the sky! ✨🌟💫

This promise was part of God’s great rescue mission to save us through His son Jesus. 👑

We worshiped and worked on our memory verse (Colossians 1:13) and we went on a field trip to the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science!

What is Summer Camp all about?

Four days of learning about God through interactive worship and faith-filled Bible lessons, fun activities, and time with friends. At the center of it all = Jesus. 💜

We are less two weeks out from our first Summer Camp where we will welcome (and pick-up) 1st-6th grade students from the Jackson-Metro Area.

This year's theme is a "space" theme and we will be EXPLORING God's great rescue MISSION. 🚀

"God has RESCUED us from the power of darkness and has brought us into the kingdom of His Son." Colossians 1:13

We still have a little ways to go on our funding which helps cover the cost of supplies, snacks, activity fees, etc.
