"WHAT'S" RULING YOUR CITY?
EVERY STATE and/or CITY has a "demonic principality" that attempts to position itself as "ruler" in that area. If you are not able to readily identify "that spirit" or if you ARE able to identify it but choose to continue to ignore and yield to it, you will see minimal (if ANY) change in your area!
Here in MISISSIPPI, many times people label "poverty" as the spirit that oppresses and suppresses the state. While I believe that to be true for the state (as a whole), the spirit IN THIS CITY that keeps churches and ministries hostage and render them with little to no power of effect in initiating CHANGE is TRADITION, RELIGIOUSNESS, and ELITISM! These THREE THINGS have caused a large GAP in the ability of more than just "one or two" churches being able to work together for the betterment of the WHOLE and significant VISIBLE CHANGE in the city. ELITISM is THE worst!
"ELITISM defined is the attitude or behavior of a person or group who regard themselves as belonging to an elite. ELITISM may be used to describe a situation in which power is concentrated in the hands of a limited number of people. ELITE is a select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group or society."
In other words, HERE IN JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI a WHOLE LOT of what "drives" ministry (in many cases) is "who you know" in the natural whether you KNOW GOD in the spirit or not! It is hard for ministries who are not well known, who are not publicizing EVERY SINGLE THING they do, or who aren't always in the news or spotlight to garner a plethora of public support UNLESS they succumb to self and submit to the desires and ways of larger "well known" ministries whether they are doing right or wrong!
The "stratagems" of SOME of those pastors (certainly NOT "all") is that if they can "stain" YOU or your ministry with their words to other about you OR "box you out" long enough, you'll abandon what GOD called you to do and "come over there" and JOIN what "they" are doing! The ONE WORD that I have heard GOD say concerning this matter is...STAND!
We have arrived at a dispensation of the church where COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS are going to be unavoidable! Even "the elite" are going to find themselves having to call on some of THE VERY SAME leaders they tried to destroy and kill to HELP THEM get some things accomplished in the city!
So, IF you are indeed, one of those smaller ministries or "unknown leaders" whom others have "kept their mouth on" in an effort to destroy you, DON'T FRET! Influence IS shifting! Before all is said and done, they'll have to either YIELD to GOD'S PLAN or be dealt with accordingly BY HIM!
But just KNOW THIS...When GOD has written you IN a plan, NONE OF MANKIND (no matter what title, position, anointing, or church they belong to) can write you out!
Get ready to witness a CHANGE IN THE CHURCHES in YOUR CITY!
