If God's been convicting you lately, hear how this ends. 🌱
All series I've been honest about a critical spirit He's pruning out of me. Here's what changed everything: pruning isn't punishment. Jesus said His Father cuts back the branches that are bearing fruit—so they'll bear more (John 15:1–2). He doesn't prune dead things. He prunes living ones. The very fact that He's working on this in you is proof He's not finished growing something good.
So if He's put His finger on something tender in you—take heart. It's not because He's done with you. It's because He's not. Still in process. Still being pruned. And so loved through it.

Here's the part that actually scared me. 👀

Last week I admitted God's pruning a critical spirit in me. This week, the why: Proverbs 11 says whatever you go searching for, you'll find (v.27). I was searching for flaws—so flaws were all I saw. Two people can look at the same person; one sees everything wrong, the other sees who God's making them. The difference isn't eyesight. It's what the heart went looking for. And there's a sting—Jesus said the measure you use gets measured back to you (Matthew 7:2). The yardstick I held over everyone swings right back around.

So I'm retraining my eyes to seek the good. Harder than it sounds.
