On yesterday we celebrated our Pastor’s 19th year anniversary. We are so thankful for all of our family and friends who helped us make this a glorious affair. Special Thanks to Dr. Lenell McGee, Pastor of Light Of The World Church for bringing a powerful message from Lamentation 3:22:23 Theme: God Brought You Through. Below are a few pictures from the service.

I Don’t Look Like What I’m Going Through ~Pastor Belinda P. Williams

“We are often troubled, but not crushed; sometimes in doubt, but never in despair; there are many enemies, but we are never without a friend; and though badly hurt at times, we are not destroyed.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭GNT‬‬

Life is really hard sometimes. Things don’t always work out how we have planned, life is lifing but God has never left us.

Pressed, not crushed: Life puts heavy pressure on you from all sides, but God gives you space to breathe so you do not break.

Perplexed, not in despair: You may feel confused and not know what is next, but you still have hope because God is with you.

Persecuted, not forsaken: People or hard times may chase after you, but God never leaves you alone.

Struck down, not destroyed: You might get knocked to the ground by a trial, but God’s strength helps you get back up

When you keep a calm face during a hard storm, it shows a holy kind of endurance. It proves that a power greater than your trouble is holding you together. Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. Keep standing, Keep praying and most of all keep praising. Keep being a light for someone who is walking in darkness that needs a light to walk by.

Sunday Service was beautiful from Praise and worship to the morning message coming from Revelation 3:15-16 Subject: From Comfortable to Committed.

One of the greatest dangers to the church today is not persecution, it is complacency.
The church at Laodicea was prosperous, comfortable, and self-sufficient. Yet while they appeared successful on the outside, Jesus revealed the truth about their spiritual condition. They had become lukewarm. The frightening part is that they didn't even realize it.

Many believers today faithfully attend church, sing the songs, and know the Scriptures, yet their passion for Christ has cooled. God is not looking for perfect people; He is looking for committed hearts. He is calling us to move beyond routine religion into a vibrant relationship with Him.

Today, Jesus asks each of us:
"Are you on fire for Me, or have you settled for spiritual comfort?"

We are always blessed to have our family come and share with us in the service. Below are pictures of those who joined us.

Watch Your Mouth

“Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.” ‭‭James‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Let your mouth be used as an instrument of encouragement. We are not to use it to lie, slander, gossip or discourage. our words naturally reflect our true character, deepest thoughts, and hidden emotions.

Think about this:
As you have conversations today, will God be pleased with what we speak?

Challenge:
This week speak words of encouragement, words that uplift. Words can build or tear down.

Refrain from gossip, lies and slander. Because what’s said no matter how you apologize cannot be taken back. The mouth reveals what the heart feels.

Give it to God and trust that He will deliver you from the spirit of the deadly tongue.

We pray that this song blesses you on today from little Miss Melody, who is the granddaughter of Bro. and Mother Jefferson.

God Renew My Strength

When the weight of the world is on your shoulders, know that God has not forsaken you. With every trial, every temptation, every situation God is with you. Psalms 55:22 says “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee. God reminds us of just who He really is. If you place your trust in Him he will renew strength.

1. Rely on God even when we can’t see the end.
2. Wait On God because He’s Our Source.

“Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭30‬-‭31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Struggle Is Real-Rev. Belinda P. Williams

“For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7‬:‭14‬-‭17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We all have issues that we wrestle with everyday

Fear of Failure
Right and Wrong
Self-Care and Guilt
Holding on and Letting Go

The closer we try to walk with God the harder the Devil presses.

We must put on the whole armor of God to be able to stand in these last and evil days. Sin is our biggest issue, the desires of the believer’s spiritual nature pull him in the direction of good while the flesh in which you live will pull you in the other. You want to do one thing but have something within you that does the opposite.
Give your struggles to God today, fully give your life to Him and He will bring you through.

For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would no

A Father's Legacy: Leaving Footprints of Faith

"And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up." Deuteronomy 6:6-7

Question:

Fathers, what kind of footprints are you leaving?

If your children followed your example, would they find their way closer to God?

Today is an opportunity to leave a legacy that will outlive you.

The Women of The Rock served breakfast to the Fathers.

Bro. Walter Nichols encouraged the men on fatherhood.

Mother Jefferson blessed each of the men with gift bags. Below are just a few of the men with their gifts.

The entire was filled with Praise, Worship and Fellowship.
