Our third annual SCRIPTURE MEMORY FESTIVAL (recital & contest) was a sweet success. This afternoon, 25 friends shared a collection of over 200 verses from God's Word which they had hidden in their hearts. Orators and listeners alike were strengthened and edified. To God be the Glory!! Then we celebrated everyone's hard work with an ice cream social.🍨😋

A special shout-out and Congratulations 🎉goes out to the 10 students who embraced an extra challenge and disciplined themselves for 10+ months to memorize a significant amount of verses. Each stood before a panel of judges to be critiqued on word-perfectness, articulation, and communication. The contest was close - each scored amazingly!

Join fellow memorizers of God's Word at our 3rd annual Scripture Memory Festival—a Scripture recital event. This special event is an opportunity to gather for Christian fellowship and edification as each one recites the Word hidden in their hearts. The collection of spoken Scripture is a joy for the memorizers and listeners alike.

A portion of our time together is set aside for KOF's youth who have chosen to recite their passages before a panel of judges, for a fun and challenging competition.

Visitors are welcome!

This year we made fun and meaningful memories by hosting our own "packing party" to pack/send gift-filled Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to children in need around the world together with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

What a great way to start the holiday season and we were blessed too, for as the Lord says, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35).

Listen to these stats!
Every day: 29,000 boxes are delivered to children.
Every day: 11,000 kids start the discipleship program.
Every day: 7,600 children turn to Jesus in saving faith.

We praise the Lord for this project and for the means and ability to participate! To God be the Glory!

Our second annual SCRIPTURE MEMORY FESTIVAL was a sweet success. Yesterday afternoon, 30 people in our church body, both young and older, gathered to encourage one another by reciting (or singing) portions of God's Word which they had hidden in their hearts. We were all strengthened and edified. To God be the Glory!! Then we celebrated everyone's hard work with an ice cream social.🍨😋

A special shout-out and Congratulations 🎉goes out to the following 4 students who embraced an extra challenge and disciplined themselves for 10+ long months to memorize a significant amount of verses. Each stood before a panel of judges to be critiqued on word-perfectness, articulation, and communication. The contest was close - each scored amazingly! - and the results were as followed:
