Join us for Holy Saturday: Vesperal Divine Liturgy
Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 9:30 AM

Holy Saturday is the day between the sorrow of Good Friday and the joy of Pascha—but it is not a day of waiting alone.

In the Greek Orthodox Church, we remember that while Christ’s body rested in the tomb, He descended into Hades and defeated death, bringing light to those in darkness.

This beautiful service moves from solemn reflection to quiet hope as we prepare for the Resurrection.

For those who were not able to attend on Wednesday, Holy Unction will also be available following the service.

We would love for you to join us. All are welcome.

Unfortunately, we need to cancel tomorrow’s (February 14) Divine Liturgy in College Station.

Fr. John has fallen ill and will not be able to travel, and we do not have backup clergy available at this time.

We pray for Fr. John’s quick recovery and appreciate your understanding. Please help us spread the word.

Out of an abundance of caution, we will be canceling church services this Saturday, January 24, due to the weather forecast calling for freezing rain and potentially hazardous road conditions.

The safety of our parishioners and families is our top priority. We look forward to being together again next Saturday.
