City of Lights

City of Lights Connecting a people. Igniting a city. Lighting the World. "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. So let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven." (Matt 5:14-16)

In 2014 God used this passage to illuminate the vision in lead planter Jon Owens and his wife Kelley for church planting. It was a vision of a people connected

to Christ and community, a people fully ignited and alive in their calling and design, and a people lighting a city in such a way that the churched and unchurched alike couldn't help but recognize and glorify the Father of Lights. After much prayer they knew it was time for them to return to Jon's hometown of Indianapolis, IN. Jon, Kelley, and their 5 children (4 boys and little girl due in April) are thrilled to return to Indy to connect a diverse community to the transforming power of Jesus and make Him known throughout the city.
