We’re not a vanilla church.

We don’t believe faith is meant to be flavorless, silent, or neutral in the face of injustice.

We follow a Jesus who stood with the marginalized, challenged systems that harmed people, and made room at the table for those society pushed aside.

So yes, we will speak up for our LGBTQIA+ neighbors.
We will stand alongside immigrants, people of color, women, and anyone whose dignity is being questioned.
We will choose love over fear, compassion over judgment, and justice over comfort.

Because being welcoming isn’t just about opening the doors.
It’s about showing up, speaking out, and living our faith in ways that make our community more equitable, more compassionate, and more reflective of God’s love.

We’re not vanilla.

We’re bold in love.
Persistent in justice.
And committed to making sure everyone knows they belong.

The Southeast Project were grateful to celebrate love, joy and community at Greenwood Pride last weekend!

Our mission is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to live fully and freely in all the ways they show up in the world. When you walk through the doors of our church, our hope is that you can find your people and reimagine your faith as we love, affirm, accept, and celebrate who you are. We’re excited to celebrate the month of June!
Mark your calendars 📆 now because you won’t want to miss out on all the fun!

🌈 The Southeast Project is doing something new this year!! We are fully embracing what it means to celebrate, affirm, love, and accept our LGBTQIA+ community by having a booth at Greenwood Pride! Come see us on Saturday, June 6th from 12-6pm!

💦 Pool party and community hangs!! Starting on Sunday, June 7th through the end of July from 12:30-4pm, you’re welcome to join Pastor Ryan and his family every Sunday at their house for an afternoon of fun!! Enjoy swimming in their pool and hanging with friends!

🎉 Next up is our monthly Women’s Ministry outing! Join us for Drag Bingo at Ash & Elm Cider Co. on Wednesday, June 10th at 7pm!

🌈 Finally, please share about our first community event that is being hosted by The Southeast Project where we share how you can support LGBTQIA+ youth while still embracing your Christian faith! Happening on Tuesday, June 23rd from 5-7pm at the Indianapolis Public Library - Franklin Road branch. This event requires an RSVP due to limited spacing. Come prepared to learn and listen from a special keynote speaker!

💰Also, don’t forget we have a summer promotion going that will continue helping us raise money for our future permanent church ⛪️ home! From May 3 - August 3, you can donate your spare change to help us grow! Visit us on a Sunday and drop your spare change into the bucket located on the welcome table!
