Indiana Buddhist Center The Indiana Buddhist Center serves as a place of teaching, practice, meditation and friendship. We are having difficulties with our phone.

Please don't try to call. We are a Buddhist Dharma Center offering interested people accurate information on the philosophy and religion of Buddhism. We provide Buddhist services with a particular concentration in Tibetan Buddhism in the lineage of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. We facilitate a meeting place for meditation, prayer, retreats, and religious services for Indiana Buddhists and those sympathetic to Buddhist Dharma.

Dear Friends,

We are happy to announce that Venerable Minyak Rinpoche (Tenzin Khyenrap) of the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center in Bloomington, Indiana, has generously agreed to visit our center on the afternoon of November 1st from 3:30-5:30pm and give a teaching.

The topic will be Ganden Lha Gyama or the Hundred Deities of the Land of Bliss prayer which can be found in our prayer book on pages 16-27 (please find the link to our prayer book below).

We will be offering khatas along our drive to welcome Rinpoche when he arrives, so please arrive by 2:45pm if you would like to join us in welcoming him this way. There will also be a dinner after the teaching, from around 6pm to 7:30pm.

Let us know if you plan to attend the teaching by registering at the link below. If you would like to join us for dinner, register additionally at the second link. If you will attend both, please register on both pages.

Just submit your email address and you're good to go. We send a monthly newsletter and regular updates about events. It's a great way to keep in touch with the center, so make sure you're signed up!

We would like to invite you to a special brunch this Sunday, October 19th at 10:30 am, to discuss our plans to bring Geshe Tenzin Dekyong to the US to be the next resident teacher at our center. Geshe Tenzin Dekyong will introduce himself either live or via recording, and members of the IBC Board will discuss our future plans.
