We recently came across this post and thought it was very fitting.

We are blessed to have a shepherd who pours so much of himself into serving God’s people. While Bishop would love to celebrate every milestone, special occasion, and community event with each of you, his schedule often requires careful balance between ministry, preparation, counseling, leadership responsibilities, and personal rest.

One of the best ways to help ensure Bishop has the opportunity to attend your event is to contact the Central Office as soon as you have a confirmed date and time. Early notice allows our team to review his calendar and make every effort to accommodate your request.

If Bishop is unable to attend, please know that he has a trusted team of anointed and capable leaders who may be available to stand in the gap and represent the ministry with the same spirit of excellence and care.

Thank you for your understanding, grace, and partnership as we work together to honor both the assignment and the vessel.

We esteem our youth and all of their accomplishments. These are milestones that are setting them up for their future. We take this time and congratulate the following youth for graduating high school and middle school. May God continue to order your steps for the next chapter of your life. How good and pleasant it is for brothers and sisters to dwell together in UNITY! Our Brotherhood Ministry and Sisterhood Ministry came together this month outside the four walls of the church and enjoyed watching the Michael Jackson movie! Thank you to our Directors of both ministries for bringing this together! Man and Woman of NUC especially, we urge you to get involved in the respective ministry that we can continue to grow together in UNITY! Good movie, good popcorn, good pop, and good snacks for it was all that! 😁
