Connection isn’t the same as community. We can know what everyone is doing and still feel alone. Staying informed about people is easy. Sharing life with them is not. Scripture tells us it’s not good for us to be alone, and now even science is confirming that loneliness is damaging to our bodies and souls. We are wired for real, face to face relationships, not distant updates.

So instead of asking, “Do I feel connected?” try asking, “Where am I choosing to be present and known?” This week, take one step. Start a conversation. Invite someone over. Pray with someone. We are not meant to follow Jesus alone.

We’re keeping an eye on the winter weather expected this weekend. As of now, no decisions have been made regarding Sunday's service, but we will be monitoring the conditions as they develop.
