Over 70 Edward Jones volunteers served at Shepherd on August 19 for their Second Annual Serve Day.

The day included projects such as a neighborhood trash walk, sorting pantry foods, inventorying in-kind donations, a neighbor's yard project, cleaning Shepherd Church, and reading, playing, and serving in our Shepherd Community Academy classrooms.

At lunch, all attendees enjoyed delicious food and heard a brief Poverty 101 session from Dr. Tim Streett.

We are grateful for Edward Jones’ partnership to serve their community!

Dolly Parton's legacy extends far beyond music. Through the Imagination Library, she helped millions of children discover the joy of reading.

At Shepherd, we're grateful to help connect families across Marion County with this incredible program, and we see that same love of books grow every day in our library, where Shepherd Community Academy students can explore, learn, and discover new stories.

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library sends children books from birth until the age of 5, leaving a lasting impression on children throughout Indiana.
