Sunday we talked about the importance of sharing communion together as a church. We talked about how as a church family we should share together including when it comes to communion. Share with your kids what communion means to you and talk about why it is important to share with your church family.

Alonso wants to have a birthday party with all of his church friends this Sunday after Church. There will be pizza, cake, and lots of laughter. Please attend if possible to make Alonso's 5th birthday party one to remember!

Sunday we started a new series "Better Together" where we will be learning about the importance of our church family. We talked about how we should grow together, encourage each other, and challenge one another to live like Jesus.

Sunday we talked about prayer and how we can believe that God answers prayer. At the end of service we took time to follow a 3 step prayer process: 1. Pray 2. Listen 3. Thank God . Practice this process with your kids to get them in the habit of taking time to listen for God and then thanking Him for answering their prayers.

The total is in! ALC Kids raised $1,402.14 for BGMC to help WorldServe International. Great job to all the kids who raised money for missions.

Sunday we learned that 'I believe God can heal'. We looked at the story of Naaman being healed of leprosy by obeying God and following what He was asked to do. God still heals today and when someone is sick or injured we should pray for God to heal them and then believe that He will.
