This is what keeps me going! Don't become weary in well doing, you're not alway made aware of the impact you are making. Here is a letter I received from the Ukraine:
Dear friends, Nancy Chance at Good Samaritan Network and Sandy Van Vlymen at Widow's Jar Ministries:
"Thank you, dear friends, for the baby food. This is very important because many women lose their milk due to constant stress, and this is a big problem. We have to think about baby food for the children. Thanks to you, our American friends, we can testify about God's love for others and evangelize them.
We sent part of the food to the frontline area of Kherson, as well as to Kharkiv and Donbas. We also took some to the Bucha district, which had been under occupation. Some women thanked us with tears in their eyes. "One canister of this food is very expensive, and only rich people can afford to buy such food for their children. Moreover, the bigger the child, the more cans are needed per month. It is also very important that this food is from birth to 12 months, and with a shelf life. Therefore, especially in the Kherson region and other frontline regions, this is a godsend and, as the women themselves say, “the mercy and blessing of God!”
Thank God that through you we have such a blessing.
It is also an evangelization for our church. Our church members told their relatives and neighbors who had little children that those families could get food at our church. They simply had to come and accept it. People made their way to the church, where we got acquainted. Previously, our church had printed bags with a photo of the church building and the address. We had distributed groceries in such packages to families living in our village, and thus conducted evangelism in this way.
We also delivered baby food to the family of a fallen Ukrainian defender in Rivne [killed in action]. This family already has two children, and the wife is now in the last month of pregnancy. This family has been through a lot and is very grateful for your support."
Thank you again, and God bless!
