I heard a quote today that I had never heard before... the tomb was not moved for Jesus to escape. It was moved so we knew to look for Him.

We are preparing for Honduras, supporting pastors around the world and continuing to seek His will.

One more small update, we are looking for additional board members. Rick Wolford has served in so many roles with BGNi, and is stepping down as board president to be a board member. Doug Kelsey has been treasurer and is also taking on the role as board president. Rick is not going anywhere - he just wants to spend more time with his family.

Many statistics show that 60-80% of those who enter the ministry will no longer be laboring in the ministry 10 years later. Great news from Ghana...

A leadership training workshop for over 110 pastors and leaders just wrapped up . The course workbook titled "COURAGEOUS - Choosing Faith When You Want To Give Up" went over some key moments in the life of Elijah, and how these moments can help train, equip, encourage and prepare our pastors and leaders.

Would you join us praying for each of these pastors, leaders, and communities? The great commission is going to continue due to men and women stepping up and answering His calling and commandment to make disciples in all nations.

God Bless Ghana Christian Mission for all they continue to do. BGNi is blessed to come alongside and support them.

A NOTE FROM RICK WOLFORD . . .

Earlier this year I asked you to pray for Bring Good News International as we were seeking someone to serve as our Executive Director. I’m pleased to share with you that God has answered our prayers in a big way. Our board has selected Kerry Carmichael as our new Executive Director. I'm very excited to have Kerry leading our ministry because she has a wealth of experience in international missions. She has served as a missions director for a local church as well as the Executive Director of a mission organization. Her experience in missions is a great asset but most of all, I'm most excited because she is a dedicated servant of Jesus Christ. I can think of no one more suited to lead the ministry of BGNi than Kerry! As an added bonus, her husband, Aaron, will be assisting her as time allows. You may remember Aaron from the time he served with me at FAME. Also, I will continue to serve on the Board of Directors and advise Kerry as needed. Thank you for your prayers. I look forward to witnessing God bless and enlarge BGNi under the leadership of the Carmichaels.

Important news from BGNi - https://mailchi.mp/2cc914dc9a5d/important-news-from-bgniEven during this time of transition, the ministry of “serving pastors, strengthening churches” goes on. For example, last month we funded motorbikes for two pastors in need of dependable, affordable transportation. Pastor Reyjemar and Pastor Danilo both serve churches in the Davao region Philippines. Davao is a highly Muslim area and much in need of the gospel. These new motorbikes will assist them to expand their ministry.

Kyle and Rick worked for over a year to prepare for Rick’s retirement and as a result the transition has gone very well. Kyle has already met many of our supporters and partners and has begun to form a good working relationship with them.
