It's been a great week in Płock. The 10-member team from Messiah University taught Monday through Friday at two local high schools, and then offered additional English conversation activities at the church in the evenings. They made lots of new friends and had interaction with 100's of high school students throughout the week. We are so grateful to Pastor Tomasz Zgorzelski and Ewa Mazur who were the key coordinators of the "U.S. Week." It was a true blessing to partner in this initiative with the Church of Christ (Centrum N9) in Płock. May God bring forth fruit from the week that will prompt an increase both spiritually and numerically within the Body of believers in this city. 🙏

We recently had the opportunity to visit “Save A Life International” in Gdańsk. We are so encouraged by the work they are doing to assist women in crisis. The joy on the faces of the moms and their little ones says it all. ❤️

While the Messiah University team is serving in Płock, another team of volunteers is serving in Pabianice with our friends at the Genesis Nova church. This team will be renovating the children’s ministry area. Volunteers include three of our PCM Board members, plus teams from New Hope CC in Whitestown, IN, Stones Crossing Church in Greenwood, IN, Cornerstone CC in Springfield, KY, and Jefferson Street CC in Lincoln, IL. We give God thanks for each volunteer and pray God’s blessing on this week as we serve alongside our Polish ministry partners for His glory.

The team from Messiah University has safely arrived in Płock and this morning we worshiped with our brothers and sisters here at Centrum N9. David Hatfield preached and the students taught the children’s classes. Tomorrow begins English classes in two of the high schools, followed by conversation classes offered at the church in the evenings. We look forward to all the relationships that will develop and the many opportunities to share the HOPE that dwells within us. 🙏

Today the Ostróda Camp team traveled to Warsaw and spent the day exploring the city. The majority of them will fly home tomorrow. Meanwhile, the team from Messiah University arrived and made their way to Płock. Our third team arrived this afternoon and traveled on to Pabianice. A few of the Ostróda team have stayed to join the Pabianice team. So many volunteers offering service unto the Lord … it’s a beautiful thing. 🙏

We’re so thankful that our friend, Matt James, could be with us for a few weeks in Poland. He and his wife, Haylee, were PCM interns for 3 months in 2015, and returned to serve in 2016 and 2017. A few days ago, these four gentlemen met for breakfast here at the camp. All four have served in ministry for many years. Most significantly here in this place, all four have served as Camp Director at Ostróda Camp. Their joint service spans more than five decades. A few others have served the camp in this role, but it was special that these four were able to meet this week. We give thanks for each one who has worked to create such a special place for campers to encounter our good God. 💛

This evening the ladies from our Ostróda Camp team gathered with the ladies from the Ostróda church for a time of testimony and fellowship. It was so special to be together and to give Jesus praise for how He has rescued us and been faithful throughout the generations. We thank Małgosia Kołak and her team for hosting the evening with us. God is so good.
