As we prayed together this evening, we thanked God for putting people in our lives- some we’ve never even met- who have made this world more equitable, more just, and more peaceful. War memorials and the Jefferson Memorial, as well as the National African American Museum, remind us of the great sacrifice and impact so many have made in our country and world.

Imagine if every one of us worked toward greater justice, peace, and equity daily!

We stood on ground where George Washington and others made significant contributions to what is now known as “the land of the free and home of the brave.” Students were challenged to ensure that their decisions in life build on the ideals of unity, equity, and care for human dignity.

We are truly blessed to visit our nation’s capitol!Four 8th graders were honored to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington cemetery.

We cannot begin to thank you enough for your support of our RAM RUN fundraiser! As of today, we've raised a whopping $25,850 and we couldn't have done it without you! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

We are keeping the site open for 5 more days! If we raise $30,000 the students who raise the most money will get to PIE the FACES of TEACHERS and our ANNOUNCEMENT CREW! Perhaps there are a few more friends of Holy Spirit out there who can help us exceed our goal by $5000!

As for the blue-haired principal...the children’s faces say it all!

Students were told today that if they raise all $25K by 7 am tomorrow morning, the principal will dye her hair BLUE and they can make her into a human sundae! Right now we are at $22,772! Will you help our students?
