Prayer doesn't equal approval. Praying for politicians and others we disagree with does not mean we stand for what they say or do. It means asking God to transform their hearts, along with our own, so that political division does not keep us from loving others as once Christ taught.

What is Shepherding?

It began with a familiar greeting at a gas station, then one day the greeting became a cry for help. Relationships are built before the crisis arrives. Pastor Dan reminds us of this by telling a story about a relationship that began through ordinary every day conversation. Empathy and kindness can build the trust that brings a new sheep to the flock.

Be A Shepherd

Pastor Dan explains why shepherding is not solely the pastor's responsibility. As we mature as Christians, we can build relationships with people who have never found their way into the flock. There may be more people wandering outside than anyone could count. The question is whether the church simply sees them or reaches out to them.

April's Closet is a new mission that provides FREE, quality clothing to individuals and families in need! If you would like to donate to this mission our office is open Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
