Did you know our parish has active ministries for both men and women? This week, there are two opportunities for Catholic men to come together for prayer and fellowship. St. Martha's Men's Association will meet at St. Martha's Church on Thursday (June 4) at 7:30 p.m. The St. Joseph Society will meet at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Saturday (June 6) at 7:00 a.m. New members are welcome!

Our parish Chicken Barbecue is two weeks away! Eat-in or take out available from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30. Dinner includes a half barbecue chicken, parsley potatoes, green beans, coleslaw and dinner roll for $15. Pre-orders encouraged; call Steve Maurer at 570-417-5167. Dinners could also be picked up at St. Martha's Church from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. (pre-order only).

Thank you to everyone who came out to make nearly 3,400 pierogies for our festival - coming up on July 24th & 25th! Special thank you to our “mini chef” for all her hard work and for bringing along her mom and gram! Three generations of pierogie makers - what a blessing!
