Bruce had known about God for years but lived as if He were far away. When he first entered Manna House, he resisted and did not trust in the program, leading to defiant behaviors. One Christmas, a severe ankle injury left Bruce in the hospital for over a month. In that quiet season of recovery, he encountered God in a new way. While wrestling with his doubts, Bruce decided to trust in Jesus and surrendered his life to Him. Since then, Bruce has completed the New Start Program and now works as a ministry intern, serving and inspiring other to also trust in Jesus.

He had the money.
The cars.
The house.
The relationships.
The drugs.

Everything the world told him would make him happy.

Yet every night, the same thought followed him to bed:

“There’s got to be something more.”

There was.

His search for fulfillment would eventually lead him to discover that what he was looking for couldn’t be bought, achieved, or found in another temporary high.

It could only be found in Jesus. ✝️

The Gospel is more than a message we believe, it’s good news worth sharing.

If we truly believe that Jesus saves, then one of the most loving things we can do is lovingly point others toward Him. Not through pressure or condemnation, but with compassion, humility, and a genuine desire for people to know the hope we have found in Christ.

Love people enough to share the Good News. ✝️❤️

They were given 48 hours to leave Uzbekistan or face imprisonment for their ministry.
When they arrived in Houston, God opened a new door through soccer.
Today, their ministry model is being replicated in approximately 37 countries.
Different country. Same calling. Same Gospel.

He spent years searching for fulfillment in money, possessions, relationships, drugs, and success. But despite having everything the world told him should make him happy, he still went to bed wondering, “There’s got to be something more.”

His journey included addiction, multiple arrests, drug convictions, and incarceration. Then, in the middle of facing the consequences of his past, he encountered the grace and presence of God.

What he once saw as an arrest, he now calls his rescue.

In this powerful testimony, hear how Jesus transformed his life, how Scripture became real to him behind prison walls, and why God eventually called him back into prisons to reach other men with the same hope he had received.

Today, his mission is to build relationships that lead men toward Christ, provide discipleship and mentorship during incarceration, and help them continue walking in faith after they return home.

His past wasn't the end of his story. Through grace, it became part of his purpose.

Evangelism Made Practical reminds us of the heart of the Gospel: “But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.” Psalm 13:5 Sharing Christ starts with this deep joy and trust in His love.

Maybe you’ve tried over and over again to fix yourself.

Maybe you’re carrying guilt from your past, shame over choices you’ve made, or brokenness you don’t know how to overcome.

The message of the Gospel is not that you have to get your life together before coming to God.

Jesus Christ came for sinners. At the cross, we see God’s grace, mercy, love, and justice displayed through what Christ did on our behalf.

There is hope for the broken. There is forgiveness for the guilty. There is grace for the sinner.

Scripture gives us this promise: “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13

You don’t have to wait until you’ve fixed yourself.

Call on Jesus.

Before encountering Christ through medical missions, many in Faith Lelei’s rural community only knew healthcare as physical treatment. Yet needs for hope, peace, and spiritual care remained unmet in the face of suffering. Through the National Scholars Program, Dr. Faith was equipped to blend medical care with sharing the gospel. In her work, she often prays with patients and shares about Christ’s love. One memorable moment came with a nine-year-old patient facing the end of his life. Despite his illness, he believed in Jesus and found peace in Him, joyfully anticipating meeting his Lord. Today, Faith’s ministry continues to heal bodies, strengthen believers, and transform her community.

The Great Commission is more than a suggestion, it’s a calling to live with purpose and obedience.

Jesus has entrusted His followers with a mission: go, make disciples, and share the hope of the Gospel. We don’t need to wait for the perfect moment, special training, or a distant mission field. The mission begins right where God has placed us.

The command is clear. The mission is ours. Let’s go. 🌍✝️

Chaplain John Downs thought he was going to the Harris County Jail to deliver a Bible. Instead, he encountered the fruit of a conversation that had happened 20 years earlier.

When Terry Solley walked into the room, he immediately recognized John. John didn't recognize him.

Terry then reminded him of their first encounter: hours after Terry had committed a bank robbery in 2006, John spoke to him through a cell door and told him that God still had a purpose for his life.

Years later, Terry's life had been transformed by the Gospel. He went on to mentor and disciple hundreds of incarcerated men and became part of the same mission John had begun decades earlier.

Now, 30 years after John began ministering on death row, Terry is carrying that mission forward.

Their story is a remarkable reminder that we may never know how God will use one conversation, one act of obedience, or one seed of the Gospel.

God transforms unlikely people in unlikely circumstances—and gives them a mission: go and make disciples.
