The words of Jesus in Matthew have been such a blessing to our church family throughout our Sermon on the Mount series! Each week has been filled with meaningful moments in the Word, beautiful times of worship, communion, and prayer. We are also incredibly thankful for our pastors and team who lead and serve us so faithfully.

“Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” — Matthew 5:7 ❤️

This Sunday at Grace, we were reminded of the incredible mercy God has shown us through Jesus and the call to extend that same mercy to others.

Mercy isn’t just something we receive; it’s something we’re called to live out. Even when it’s inconvenient or difficult, we have the opportunity to reflect the heart of God by loving others, extending grace, and offering forgiveness.

May we never forget how much mercy we’ve been given, and may that shape the way we see and love the people around us.

This past weekend, our LiFT Students handed out free popcorn and water for Spring Valley Village’s Movie in the Park night. We are proud of the way they showed up to serve our community, and apparently they did it so well, that we are doing it again next month. Join us on Friday, November 20th, at 6pm to help make it another great evening for our neighbors and friends!

Today we’re celebrating our Ministry Administrator, Christina Erazo, on her birthday! Happy Birthday, Christina! 🎉

Christina, we are so thankful for your servant’s heart, your willingness to go above and beyond, and the countless ways you care for our church family. You are such a gift to Grace, and we’re praying God’s goodness and much “grace upon grace” over you in the year ahead. We hope you feel as loved and cared for today as you so faithfully make everyone else feel!
