We were just now informed by CEPC that our host church will not open on Sundays for the next 3 Sundays, starting 7/5. We will resume our previous schedule and meet online at 11:00.

Пожалуйста, следуйте данной рекомендации касательно мер предосторожности возобновления служений:
- Пожалуйста, не используйте лифты.
- Только 1 или 2 человека в туалетах.
- Поклонение для взрослых: рассаживайтесь черз один ряд и сохраняйте дистанцию в 3 стула между семьями (семьи могут сидеть рядом друг с другом).
- Детское поклонение: рассадите детей на расстоянии 6 футов.
- Носить маски внутри здания.
- Мы начнем сразу в 13:00 и закончим до 14:00.

After a long break of 3 months, 14 Sundays, and 99 days, we are finally resuming our Sunday worship in our usual location on 8300 Katy Freeway! Please keep these guidelines in mind as we resume cautiously:

- Please do not use elevators.
- Only 1 or 2 people in the restrooms.
- Adult worship: use ever other row and keep 3 chairs apart between families (families may sit next to each other).
- Children's worship: space the children 6 feet apart.
- Wear masks inside the building.
- We will begin promptly at 1:00 PM and end before 2:00 PM
- There will be no "Teatime" until further notice.
- We must be off the premises by 2:20 PM

Despite the difficulties, we are grateful to be able to worship God and fellowship with each other!

Greetings in the Lord Jesus Christ,

I trust everyone is doing well in the midst of uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, better known as coronavirus. We will not be meeting tomorrow, 3/15, due to the closing of our host church Christ Evangelical Presbyterian Church until further notice. We will however still have Sunday service online which will be broadcasted from the home of the pastor's home at the usual time 1PM. There will be children's sermon followed by adult's sermon.

Jesus exhorts us in Matthew 10:29-31, "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows." "Не продают ли пару воробьев всего за одну медную монету? Однако ни один из них не упадет на землю без воли вашего Небесного Отца. That's because we know that God is always watching over His people. God never forgets or neglects us, no matter what the circumstance!

Even though circumstances may be difficult and uncertain, let us be reminded that God is still 100% in control over our lives as well as His creation. It's an opportunity for the church to pray and seek God's will and wisdom as we navigate through these unpredictable times. It also gives the church opportunity to help those in need and comfort those who are distraught. If you are in need of assistance or guidance during this time or have any questions or suggestions, do not hesitate to contact us! As always, may God be glorified and let us be glad in Jesus Christ our Lord!

Tomorrow is Good Friday, the day when Jesus died on the cross for sinners almost 2,000 years ago. This is the reason many schools and businesses will be closed. More importantly, it forever changed the course of human history. Most importantly, it will change the course of our eternal destiny.

Although we don’t find the words “Love is difficult” in this famous chapter on love, it’s true. Of course it is. Good things are often difficult to attain or achieve. It doesn’t take much to get a 70 on a test; it takes a lot more preparation to get a 100. Since love is one of the best thing that is out there, let us not be surprised just hard it can be. Love involves emotions but it goes far beyond emotions. But nowadays love is seen mostly in terms of love, so people say things like ‘We’re madly in love’ or ‘We’ve fallen out of love’. Often it’s strong emotions that bring people together but whether it’s romantic love or love on a family or friendship level, it takes commitment, sacrifice and patience to make all love work. Most of all, we are able to love because God first loved us (1 John 4:19). So let us celebrate, give and receive the gift of love. Happy Valentine’s Day!
