Emmanuel lives to be the hands, feet, heart, and mind of Jesus as we bring the joy of the gospel of Jesus Christ to others. The vision of Emmanuel, is simply put by quoting 1 John 4:17 "Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world." We want to raise up a church that resembles the nature and character of JESUS
Christ. This is where our motto, Bless God, Bless Others, Be the Blessings springs from. Jesus answered His critics by simply stating that the things He said and did sprang from His father. He showed us that His mission was to bless others, and acted on that by emphatically being the blessing, even to those that cursed Him. He gave His life for our sins and rose from the dead to give us new life, forgiveness and a right relationship with our creator. He fed those that didn't believe on Him. His love was unpretentious. It was sincere. This is the kind of people we long to become. To accomplish this, we center our Sunday Morning Worship on Jesus Christ and the Word of God, in a language that our culture speaks and understands. We have small groups that join together for Bible study and relationship building. We move beyond our own walls by providing opportunities for our membership to be the blessing to our community through our Food Pantry, and partnering with such organizations as CareNet Crisis Pregnancy Center and InterVarsity Collegiate Ministries. If this is something that stirs your heart, consider being our guest at any of our regularly scheduled services.
