What a wonderful time we had this past Sunday kicking off a brand-new Sunday School year!

We enjoyed a yummy potluck, sweet fellowship, and lots of fun together—including an exciting water slide for the kids!

We’re so thankful for everyone who came out and helped make Rally Day such a special day. Here’s to a wonderful year of learning, growing, and growing closer to God together!

The Blessing of the Quilts & Kits was on August 23.

What an incredible blessing! ❤️ Following our Blessing of the Quilts and Kits on August 23, everything was boxed and prepared to continue its journey through Lutheran World Relief.

This year we prepared:
🧵 135 quilts
🧴 100 personal care kits
📚 150 school kits

And what a milestone when we look at our totals to date:

🧵 4,305 quilts
🧴 2,013 personal care kits
📚 3,561 school kits

Each quilt, kit, and donated item represents the love, time, prayers, and generosity of so many people. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this ministry possible. Together, we are sharing God’s love and practical care with people around the world. 🙏❤️

What a beautiful way to serve our neighbors near and far!

What an incredible week on our mission trip to Arden, North Carolina!
From June 28–July 3, Lutheridge was our home away from home as we served, learned, and grew together. Throughout the week, we cleaned roadsides along the Blue Ridge Parkway, built a chicken coop, and helped with community gardening projects—small acts of service that made a meaningful impact.
When we weren't serving, we enjoyed spending time together at Lutheridge, strengthening friendships, making new connections, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Our adventure day included visits to Pisgah National Forest, Chimney Rock State Park, and Asheville's River Arts District, where we experienced both the beauty of God's creation and the creativity and resilience of the local community.
Thank you to everyone who prayed for, supported, and encouraged our team. We returned home with grateful hearts, unforgettable memories, and a renewed commitment to serving God by serving others.

No monkey business here!

These wonderful people are hard at work cleaning the front flower beds of liriope (a.k.a. monkey grass). From start to finish, their dedication and teamwork are making a big difference. Thank you all for your hard work and for helping keep our grounds looking their best!
