The Presbytery of Sheppards and Lapsley approved the plan of Union of Second Presbyterian and Edgewood Presbyterian Thursday! The celebration of Union service will be on World Communion Sunday October, 2024.

Our service of Thankgiving and Hope was beautiful and meaningful thanks to so many folks. Thank you to the musicians and choir for the beautiful sounds and voices. Thank you,Sue and Rachel, for your leadership in worship. Thank you to our members and former members for helping make this service a success. Thank you,Grace Fellowship, for your help in keeping us cool and setting up the sound system. Thank you Joe Genau and the folks of Edgewood in supporting us in so many ways. Thank you to all who came to be by our side during this time. We appreciate all who were here, for being here.

Please join us at 3 p.m. tomorrow for our Service of Thanksgiving and Hope. We will celebrate World Communion together. There will be a reception on the lawn following the service. Join us as we celebrate the history and life of Second Presbyterian Church and look to the future in merging with Edgewood Presbyterian Church!
