Summer Walk-In Choir: Sunday, June 14 (and July 12 and August 16). Just show up in the sanctuary at 9 a.m., and we'll learn some easy pieces to sing that morning. Wonder what Pastor Gordon looks like from behind? Want a different view of the sanctuary on a Sunday morning? We will be working with Nature's Best Hope, by Douglas Tallamy, an expert in the transition of small plots into native pollinator habitat.

How are local nonprofits feeling the impact of reduced funding and uncertainty in providing safety, food, and housing in our community? That’s the question a panel discussion will address at the June 11 meeting of Holland Zeeland Indivisible, 6:30 p.m., at Hope Church. Kory Plockmeyer, of the Lakeshore Nonprofit Alliance, will moderate a discussion with guests representing Benjamin’s Hope, Community Action House, and Resilience. Everyone is welcome to come and learn how decisions made in Washington and Lansing are affecting neighbors in our own community.
