Summer Walk-In Choir: Sunday, June 14 (and July 12 and August 16). Just show up in the sanctuary at 9 a.m., and we'll learn some easy pieces to sing that morning. Wonder what Pastor Gordon looks like from behind? Want a different view of the sanctuary on a Sunday morning? Want to try out singing in the choir with no commitment and be a part of a fun group of people who love making music together? We'll save you a seat in the summer choir!

How are local nonprofits feeling the impact of reduced funding and uncertainty in providing safety, food, and housing in our community? That’s the question a panel discussion will address at the June 11 meeting of Holland Zeeland Indivisible, 6:30 p.m., at Hope Church. Kory Plockmeyer, of the Lakeshore Nonprofit Alliance, will moderate a discussion with guests representing Benjamin’s Hope, Community Action House, and Resilience. Everyone is welcome to come and learn how decisions made in Washington and Lansing are affecting neighbors in our own community.
