Ever look around and feel dismayed, disheartened, even angered by all the persistent injustice, oppression, and suffering in the world? If there weren't a good and righteous God who would eventually provide justice, we might be tempted to execute vengeance on our own terms. But when it seems like God isn't setting things right fast enough for our tastes, what do we do? Psalm 109 teaches us how to pray for his justice and righteousness to prevail, and to have patience until it does, trusting his purposes and timing.
