🌕 The Hunter’s Moon rises tonight! It may look perfectly full as it climbs above the horizon, but its exact moment of fullness comes just after midnight: 12:12 a.m. EDT on Monday, October 26.

If skies are clear, step outside around moonrise and watch for that autumn glow. What’s the view like where you are? Share your photos below! 📸

🦉 A squirrel does the construction. An owl may move in later.

Some owls reuse nests built by other animals—even squirrels! Long-eared owls sometimes raise their young in abandoned squirrel nests, giving an old woodland home a second life.

Once the leaves fall, those hidden treetop homes become much easier to spot. Next time you notice one, take a quiet look from a distance. Who’s home?

Have you ever spotted an owl in your yard? 🍂
