We can’t wait to begin our 19th Summer Day Camp!!
‘Twas the Night Before Summer Day Camp
’Twas the night before day camp, when all through the house,
Not a camper was sleeping—not even a mouse.
The backpacks were packed by the front door with care,
In hopes that camp morning soon would be there.
The children were dreaming all snug in their beds,
While visions of games and new friendships filled heads.
With sunscreen and water bottles ready to go,
Everyone waited for morning’s first glow.
When out in the yard there arose such delight,
The thought of camp adventures made spirits take flight.
Arts and crafts, sports, and songs to be sung,
Excitement was growing in each little one.
There’d be laughter and learning and fun every day,
New memories made as they worked and they played.
From nature walks, scavenger hunts, and swimming too,
Summer day camp had so much to do!
So sleep well, young campers, and rest through the night,
Tomorrow brings sunshine, adventure, and delight.
And we’ll hear all around, as the camp day takes flight:
“Happy Summer Day Camp to all, and to all a good time!” ☀️🎨⚽️
