We can’t wait to begin our 19th Summer Day Camp!!

‘Twas the Night Before Summer Day Camp

’Twas the night before day camp, when all through the house,
Not a camper was sleeping—not even a mouse.
The backpacks were packed by the front door with care,
In hopes that camp morning soon would be there.

The children were dreaming all snug in their beds,
While visions of games and new friendships filled heads.
With sunscreen and water bottles ready to go,
Everyone waited for morning’s first glow.

When out in the yard there arose such delight,
The thought of camp adventures made spirits take flight.
Arts and crafts, sports, and songs to be sung,
Excitement was growing in each little one.

There’d be laughter and learning and fun every day,
New memories made as they worked and they played.
From nature walks, scavenger hunts, and swimming too,
Summer day camp had so much to do!

So sleep well, young campers, and rest through the night,
Tomorrow brings sunshine, adventure, and delight.
And we’ll hear all around, as the camp day takes flight:
“Happy Summer Day Camp to all, and to all a good time!” ☀️🎨⚽️

TEMA has extended the signup dates from May 26-30 to June 1-6 as well! Get your in person registration assistance at the Memorial Park Pavillion during that time.

LAST CHANCE to register! Please read this flyer! The President doesn't make federal assistance available for every disaster. It's important to utilize the resource while we have it. Not only to benefit you and your family in time of recovery, but also to benefit the Lewis County Government. Every registration helps increase public assistance available to Lewis County for this and future disasters!
I assure you, it's easier than you think!

We LOVE to see our logo on the BIG SCREEN (bottom right) at Bridgestone Arena. We are grateful for the Predators Foundation Helper Grants for funding recreation equipment for Hope Hohenwald Inc. and the Pocket Park. Their partnership is so appreciated!

Unfortunately, due to increased storm chances, we are rescheduling our bike ride for the first week of summer camp (June). I've been watching the weather daily hoping it would change, but it's still looking like a rainy day with potential storm chances.

This event takes a lot of coordination with external partners that make it difficult to cancel at the last minute. Thank you for understanding.
