A Sunday we’ll be talking about for a long time. 🧡

Yesterday, Pastor Scott wrapped up our Why Worship series by sharing how worship meets us in the middle of suffering. Through Psalm 13, he highlighted three movements we can make in suffering: lament, pleading, and confidence. Worship gives our pain a place to go, reminds us where to turn for hope, and changes our perspective by helping us declare what is true even when we may not feel it.

We also had the incredible opportunity to hear Addison’s testimony of faith and celebrate her baptism after the first service. Her courage to share her story and take a step of faith inspired others to do the same, leading to several spontaneous baptisms that followed.

What a beautiful, joy-filled Sunday of worship, faith, and lives being changed. All glory to God! 🙌
