MEN OF GOD WAKE UP. RISE UP. LEAD.
Lord Jesus, help us.
Help us men lead our wives.
Help us lead our children.
Help us lead our churches.
Help us lead ourselves.
Because the truth is, we need men of God again.
This picture breaks my heart because it’s real.
And if you ask me why I believe there is a decline in the church, I’ll tell you plainly:
Men have stopped leading.
We have men who know how to build businesses but don’t know how to build their homes.
Men who can lead teams but won’t lead their families to church.
Men who will fight for their careers but won’t fight for their marriages.
Men who know how to scroll, consume, criticize, and complain, but have forgotten how to pray, serve, sacrifice, repent, and lead.
Men, this cannot continue.
Your wife needs you.
Your children need you.
Your church needs you.
Your community needs you.
And more than anything, God is calling you back to Him.
Being a man of God doesn’t mean you have it all together.
It means you get on your knees when you don’t.
It means you open the Word when you don’t know what to do.
It means you repent when you’re wrong.
It means you love your wife sacrificially.
It means you teach your children to follow Jesus by showing them what following Jesus actually looks like.
It means you stop making excuses and start taking responsibility.
Men of God, wake up.
Stop waiting for somebody else to do what God called YOU to do.
Rise up.
Pray again.
Lead again.
Serve again.
Love again.
Repent again.
Get in the Word again.
Get planted in the church again.
The church is essential.
The church isn’t something we attend when it’s convenient.
It’s where we get filled so we can go back into our homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, and communities and pour out.
You cannot pour out what you refuse to let God pour into you.
So Lord, help Your men.
And Lord, help me help them.
Raise up men who are humble enough to kneel, strong enough to stand, courageous enough to lead, and surrendered enough to follow Jesus.
Men of God, WAKE UP. RISE UP.
Your family is watching.
Your church is watching.
The next generation is watching.
Let’s become the men God has called us to be.
