We know everyone is eager to come back to Trinity Lutheran Church and School. Our staff loves and misses our students and can't wait to help your children grow and learn.

However, we still do not have power. Once power is restored, we will need a staff/trustees work day to prepare for students to return the following day.

Although the School City of Hobart is tentatively planning to return on Monday, we cannot say yet whether we will have power in time to do the same at Trinity. Stay tuned and we will continue to update our families.

Still no power at Trinity Lutheran Church and School, so there will be no school tomorrow, Wednesday, August 19. We continue to pray for our church and school families who still do not have power.

Trinity families,
While some schools in Hobart have power, Trinity Lutheran Church and School does not, and we do not have an exact timeline for when power will be restored. With this in mind, we want to provide families with Trinity's updated plan for returning to school.

Although Trinity was blessed to have had only minimal damage, the teachers and trustees will need time after power is restored to prepare the building for the first day of school.

Therefore, once power is restored at school, we will provide 48 hours' notice to families regarding the first day of school. Please leave a message by calling the school at (219) 942-3147 if you have questions or concerns.

Update: There will be no school for Trinity students on Monday or Tuesday, August 17-18. We anticipate providing families with an update Monday evening regarding the rest of the week. Stay safe!
