THERE WILL NOT BE A PICNIC, NOR WILL THE REGULAR SUNDAY DINNERS BE SERVED IN MILLENNIUM HALL, as there is currently no electricity here. Visitors are invited to bring their own food and beverages.

PHONES/INTERNET
The monastery office phones/internet are currently down due to no electricity; messages (emergency only) may be sent through Facebook Messenger for the interim.
Please use caution when traveling through the 61st Avenue/Broadway neighborhood of Merrillville near the shrine and Andrean High School, as this was one of the areas hardest hit by the tornado and severe weather.
We also would appreciate everyone's help in sharing this information on their pages and perhaps contacting members of the shrine community who do not use Facebook to advise them of these updates.
PLEASE CONTINUE TO VIEW OUR FACEBOOK PAGE FOR UPDATES! Another round of thunderstorms is predicted for the Merrillville area beginning late Saturday afternoon (June 13th) into Sunday morning (June 14th). We also ask that you keep the shrine community and those in Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland affected by the recent severe weather in your prayers!
