Several of you have requested these be posted each week. Sorry that we (Adam) forgot. Here are the readings for this week.
Next week we’ll begin a series on the Psalms that will culminate in one worship service in The River on Sunday, July 19th. So, over the next six weeks, we’ll cover many of the Psalms in our readings. Martin Luther called the Psalms “a little Bible” because all the themes and elements of Scripture are contained therein. Wesley said of the Psalms, “Herein we have the choicest parts of the Old Testament, wherein there is so much of Christ and his gospel, as well as of God and his Law, that is has been called the summary of both Testaments. Not only will we see how the Psalms are the little Bible, we’ll see how their honesty calls forth our whole selves as we praise God.
