As a new school year begins, we want to pause and pray over every student, teacher, homeschool family, administrator, bus driver, cafeteria worker, coach, counselor, custodian, volunteer and everyone who serves in our schools.
Father,
We thank You for the gift of a new beginning. As classrooms fill and routines return, we ask for Your presence to go before every person walking onto a campus or learning at home.
Give our students courage to stand for what is right, wisdom to make good choices and hearts that seek You above everything else. Protect them physically, emotionally and spiritually. Surround them with godly friendships and remind them that their identity is found in Christ alone.
Strengthen our teachers and school staff. Give them patience on the hard days, joy in the little victories, wisdom in every decision and the assurance that their work matters. Refresh them when they’re weary and encourage them when they feel unseen.
Bless our homeschool families with perseverance, creativity, peace and unity. Help parents lead with grace and teach with confidence, knowing that You are guiding every lesson.
We pray that every school would be filled with kindness, respect, compassion and hope. Protect every classroom, every hallway, every bus, every playground and every home where learning takes place.
Above all, may this school year be one where lives are changed, character is built and Your light shines brightly through Your people so that more can come to know You.
