CONGRATS are in order for the powerhouse that is Ms. Brittany Passion on her BOOKING THE LEAD IN A FEATURE FILM 🎥🔥

Brittany came in prepared, loose, ready to play with the material (which was LENGTHY) and make it her own! This session was dope because we really went the extra mile on character development and how she fit into the dynamic of her friend group and CHOSE TO LET GO & HAVE FUN WITH IT! She had a concrete sense of self and it paid off in an IMMEDIATE BOOKING THE NEXT DAY 😮‍💨

Actors remember that a necessary part of booking the role is JOY in addition to “personalizing your performance”.. don’t be afraid of improv (one of your greatest tools) to show casting you are one with your character’s essence! Remember the bigger the role the bigger the risk you should be taking! 💯 Can’t wait to see you in action Brittany! 🫶🏾

Fun fact we actually read for this movie twice but casting came back with a more emotionally demanding role and LENA DELIVERED! We both were crying tears y’all 😭😂 so incredibly proud of your vulnerability, work ethic and artistic ability! We made sure to have a “concrete sense of self” as the characters with tons of backstory and script analysis and the emotions just flowed then BOOKED IT 🔥 Can’t wait to see you in action Lena ! 🫶🏾

ROLL CALL 🎥: Atlanta Talent: Back in the lab with youngin killing these takes per usual! 2 characters and BOTH “One Take Jakes” 🤌🏾🔥Christian came in prepared, ready to play and really breathe LIFE into both characters! We focused on making them distinctly different so we get the opportunity to show casting RANGE!

Remember actors one of the best ways to “show up” as an artist is through making distinct choices! Things like are they high energy and animated or more relaxed and reserved? What’s their wants, dreams, or background like? Don’t be afraid to take a risk by putting your artistic ideas to work!!! You say you’re an artist right.. so CREATE!!!

ROLL CALL 🎥: Atlanta Talent: Had an amazing session today with first time client 🤗💕 I was instantly impressed at her prep work with character development and analysis! We had some great breakthroughs with emotional material and she killed it with a 1 take Jake 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 ACTORS remember to allow for moments of discovery in the script! If your character is having a “first” don’t rush through that instead milk it and take us on that journey with you! Lena did a great job of that and making sure we saw the transitions of moments and emotions within the text which in turn makes for an interesting and compelling performance!
