Parents & Teens — You’re Invited!
Today’s teens are navigating challenges that many parents never had to face. Protect Our Children: Protecting Teens in a Changing World is a community discussion created to help parents and teens learn together, recognize risks, start important conversations, and feel better equipped to make safer choices.
We’ll be talking about real issues affecting teens today, including cyberbullying, social media, online gaming, human trafficking, and va**ng.
We’re honored to have Lauren Cribbs as our speaker! With more than 10 years of professional experience in public safety, investigations, and child advocacy, Lauren will bring a real-world perspective to the dangers teens face and practical ways families can recognize warning signs and have important conversations before a crisis happens.
Please note: This event is designed primarily for adults and teenagers, and the discussion will be geared toward that age group. Parents of younger children are absolutely welcome to attend; however, please be aware that some of the topics and information discussed may not be appropriate for younger children. We encourage parents to use their discretion when deciding whether to bring younger children.
