VBS Day 5🥇🏃🏼‍♂️

Friday we had our Banquet to celebrate the last day of our VBS. Deacon Bill held a Communion Service for all of our little ones and volunteers, which was then followed by a small awards ceremony and potluck.

The Faith Formation team would like to thank God, first and foremost for hosting another year of VBS. Next, to all of our volunteers—those who were station or group leaders, and especially those who worked hard behind the scenes to make this VBS a success.

EBV Día 5🥇🏃🏼‍♂️

El viernes tuvimos nuestro banquete para celebrar el último día de nuestra EBV. El diácono Bill celebró un servicio de comunión para todos nuestros pequeños y voluntarios, al que luego le siguió una pequeña ceremonia de premios y una comida.

El equipo de Formación de Fe le gustaría agradecer a Dios, en primer lugar, por organizar otro año de EBV. A continuación, a todos nuestros voluntarios, aquellos que eran líderes de estación o grupo, y especialmente aquellos que trabajaron duro detrás de las escenas para que esta EBV fuera un éxito.

On Thursday we learned about the virtue of temperance. Learning about the balance and self-control that is required to practice this virtue was challenging for many, but not impossible! We also looked at the life of St. Marguerite D’Youville who started the “Grey Nuns”.

El jueves aprendimos sobre la virtud de la moderación. Aprender sobre el equilibrio y el autocontrol que se requiere para practicar esta virtud fue un desafío para muchos, ¡pero no imposible! También miramos la vida de Santa Marguerite D'Youville, quien inició las "Monjas Grises".

On Wednesday children learned about the life of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati and the steps it takes to become a Saint (we realized the poster still had his title as “Blessed”). The virtue of the day was fortitude 💪 and we also learned about the Beatitudes.

EBV Día 3 🥇🏃🏼‍♂️

El miércoles, los niños aprendieron sobre la vida de San Pier Giorgio Frassati y los pasos que se necesitan para convertirse en un santo (nos dimos cuenta de que el papel todavía tenía su título de "Beato"). La virtud del día fue la fortaleza 💪 y también aprendimos sobre las Bienaventuranzas.

On Tuesday our little ones learned about St. Anne and the virtue of prudence. Within our stations our coaches emphasized the importance of reading the Bible and especially following the 10 Commandments.
