What an unforgettable experience for the Hickory Choral Society! ✨🎵⛰️🎻

We are still smiling from our wonderful performance at the 2026 NC ACDA Conference: Appalachia Sings! From the excitement of taking the stage to the joy of making music together, this was truly a special experience for our singers!

We are incredibly honored and grateful to have been selected to perform at this year’s conference. Sharing our passion for choral music with fellow musicians, educators, and music lovers was an opportunity we will always cherish.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to NCACDA for inviting us to be part of such an inspiring celebration of choral music. We had an absolute blast, made wonderful memories, and couldn’t be prouder of our singers!

Here’s to beautiful music, lasting memories, and the joy of singing together! 🖤✨🎶

We are super excited for the Hickory Choral Society to share our voices and our love of choral music at the North Carolina American Choral Directors Association (NCACDA) Conference titled Appalachia Sings! 🛤️🎶⛰️🌤️

Rooted in the rich musical traditions of our Appalachian region, we are proud to celebrate the power of music bringing people together, help preserve our heritage, and inspire future generations of singers.

Thank you again to North Carolina ACDA for the opportunity to share our music with fellow musicians, educators, and choral enthusiasts. What a joy to represent our community and celebrate the beauty of singing together! 🎼✨

( Hope you enjoy the sneak peak 😉 )

☂️ Laissez les bons temps rouler! ⚜️

What a JOY it was to come together for the Hickory Choral Society Choir Retreat! From beautiful music and wonderful fellowship to plenty of laughter and Mardi Gras spirit, this retreat reminded us that some of the best moments happen when voices—and people—come together. 🎶🎭

We leave refreshed, inspired, and grateful for the friendships we share and the music we get to make together. Here’s to another season of singing, growing, and creating something beautiful!

Let the good times roll—and let the music continue! 💚💜
