💚 My Beloved. My Friend. 💚

What makes Jesus altogether lovely? It’s not just what He does for us, but who He is! 🙌🏽

This past Sunday, we reflected on the beautiful words of Song of Solomon 5:16.

“His mouth is most sweet; yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.” ❤️

Jesus is lovely in the valley and lovely on the mountaintop. He is lovely in seasons of joy & in moments of uncertainty. His goodness is not defined by what He gives us or how He answers our prayers, but by His unchanging character & unfailing love.

No matter what season of life you find yourself in, may your heart be reminded that Jesus is more than our Savior—He is our Beloved & our Friend.

✨ Take time this week to appreciate the beauty of who He is.

🌸 Women of Sharon, we’re back! 🌸

Our Women’s Ministry Bible Study & Fellowship resumes this month, and we’re making room for a season of spiritual growth, deeper fellowship, & a renewed hunger for God’s Word. 📖✨

As we gather again, we’re reminded that we were never meant to walk this journey alone. There is power in godly sisterhood - in encouraging one another, praying for one another, learning together, & stirring one another toward love & good works.

Come expecting to be encouraged, challenged, & refreshed! We’ll also hear about the Women’s Bible Study of Richmond & Vicinity & opportunities for our women to connect and grow beyond our monthly gatherings.

Sunday, we were reminded that Jesus didn’t just promise to give us bread - He is the Bread of Life. He became our provision.

He chose to be planted.
He endured the crushing.
He stepped into our mess.
He allowed Himself to be pressed & prepared.
He went through the fire.
& ultimately, He was broken for us.

Maybe you’re in a season of being planted, pressed, crushed, or in the fire. God has not abandoned you in the process. He is still working, still forming, & still preparing you for what’s next.

🍞 In every breaking, there’s a blessing.

September, we’re believing God for a “suddenly!” 🙌🏾✨

What you’ve been praying about, waiting on, & trusting God for may be closer than you realize. May this be the month where “not yet” becomes “yes,” waiting becomes witnessing, & prayers become testimonies.

We don’t know when God will move, but we know He is faithful. So we’ll keep praying. We’ll keep believing. We’ll keep standing on His Word.

Lord, we’re ready for our suddenly! 🙏🏾

Faith in action. ❤️

Today, our Teen Ministry had the privilege of shopping for and assembling toiletry kits for the survivors of the Darby House fire. What may seem like simple everyday items can provide comfort, dignity, and hope to individuals and families rebuilding after an unexpected tragedy.

We’re so proud of our teens for serving with generous hearts and willing hands. Thank you to everyone who gave monetary donations to make this outreach possible. Because of your generosity, we were able to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community.

Please continue to keep the Darby House survivors in your prayers as they take the next steps toward healing and rebuilding.
