What a wonderful Children’s Day Weekend! 🎉

From a day of fun and fellowship at Busch Gardens to a special worship service celebrating our Kingdom Kids and graduates, we thank God for the children and youth of Sharon Baptist Church.

We were blessed by the ministry of our praise dancers and all of the children who participated in Sunday’s program. Their gifts, enthusiasm, and love for the Lord remind us that God is raising up the next generation for His glory.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this weekend so special and memorable.

Now, we look forward to celebrating the fathers and father figures of Sharon Baptist Church this coming Sunday. Join us as we honor the men who lead, love, serve, and leave a lasting legacy of faith.

Our Congregational Care Ministry enjoyed a wonderful visit with Sister Brenda King Coffey in Hopewell. She was in great spirits, looking well, and enjoyed laughter, fellowship, prayer, and one of her favorite snacks—Cheetos! ❤️

The team also had the opportunity to visit with other residents and staff members and share prayer with Sister Brenda and her roommate.

Sister Brenda hopes to return to worship services soon. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. 💕

Life can be busy, demanding, & sometimes overwhelming. In the middle of caring for everyone else, it’s easy to neglect the time we need to be encouraged, refreshed, & rooted in God’s Word.

Women’s Bible Study is an opportunity to pause, connect with other women of faith, & be reminded that you don’t have to walk this journey alone.

If you’ve been needing encouragement, community, wisdom, or simply a place to grow deeper in your relationship with God, this is for you!

Today we’re honoring 2 faithful servants whose work often happens behind the scenes but has a lasting impact on our church family: Deacon Charles Jennings and Trustee Ronald Jackson.

Many know them by the roles they serve in as Deacon and Trustee, but they also faithfully care for our church facilities, helping create a clean, welcoming, and prepared environment for worship, ministry, fellowship, and outreach.

Week after week, they serve with humility, excellence, and dedication, often without recognition or fanfare. Their willingness to wear multiple hats is a beautiful example of servant leadership and commitment to the body of Christ.

Deacon Jennings and Trustee Jackson, thank you for your hard work, your faithfulness, and the many ways you serve our church family. We appreciate you and are grateful for all you do to help make ministry possible.
