The Solemnity of All Saints falls on a Sunday this year -- THIS Sunday, Nov. 1. We will follow a normal Mass schedule this weekend, except the 6 p.m. vigil Mass on Saturday will be a *bilingual* vigil Mass (rather than the usual Spanish celebration).

Following Mass, there will be a Holy Hour with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, prayer, a short talk and Benediction. Join us in asking for the intercession of ALL the souls, both canonized and uncanonized (martyrs, saints and confessors), who have gained the ultimate reward of Heaven.

This solemnity is an opportunity for us as Catholics to look at the example of the Saints -- those who are more renowned as well as those who maybe were only known among our own families -- reflect on how we can live more saintly lives. All Saints Day makes us stop to take time to remember the connection between the saints in heaven, the faithful in purgatory and us -- Christians still living on earth, inspiring and exhorting believers to follow the path of holiness.

La Solemnidad de Todos los Santos cae en domingo este año: este mismo domingo, 1 de noviembre. Mantendremos el horario habitual de misas durante este fin de semana; sin embargo, la misa de vigilia del sábado a las 6 p.m. será *bilingüe* (en lugar de la celebración habitual en español).

Después de la misa, habrá una Hora Santa con exposición del Santísimo Sacramento, oración, una breve reflexión y la bendición eucarística. Acompáñennos a pedir la intercesión de *todas* las almas —tanto las canonizadas como las no canonizadas (mártires, santos y confesores)— que han alcanzado la recompensa suprema del Cielo.

Esta solemnidad es una oportunidad para que, como católicos, contemplemos el ejemplo de los santos —tanto de aquellos más conocidos como de quienes quizás solo fueron conocidos dentro de nuestras propias familias— y reflexionemos sobre cómo podemos llevar una vida más santa. El Día de Todos los Santos nos invita a hacer una pausa para recordar el vínculo que existe entre los santos en el Cielo, los fieles en el Purgatorio y nosotros —los cristianos que aún vivimos en la Tierra—, inspirando y exhortando a los creyentes a seguir el camino de la santidad.

THIS SATURDAY, OCT. 31! Join us for the final day of the 40 Days for Life Fall 2026 Campaign, in praying for an end to abortion and bearing witness to the dignity of unborn children. It is also the eve of the Solemnity of All Saints and the final day of Respect Life Month.

We will gather at 10:30 a.m. in Asheville (outside the abortion facility) to pray the Rosary, pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and sing during this memorial service for the unborn children who were stripped from their mothers' wombs -- the most vulnerable, the voiceless. Let us take a stand for them.

¡ESTE SÁBADO, 31 DE OCTUBRE! Acompáñennos en el último día de la campaña «40 Días por la Vida» (otoño de 2026), para orar por el fin del ab**to y dar testimonio de la dignidad de los niños por nacer. Es, además, la víspera de la Solemnidad de Todos los Santos y el último día del Mes del Respeto a la Vida.

Nos reuniremos a las 10:30 a.m. en Asheville (frente al centro de ab**tos) para rezar el Santo Rosario, la Coronilla a la Divina Misericordia y cantar durante este acto conmemorativo en honor a los niños por nacer que fueron arrebatados del vientre de sus madres: los más vulnerables, aquellos que no tienen voz. Alcemos nuestra voz por ellos.

CUTEST SAINT PARADE: Hey, families! Tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct. 27) at 10:30 a.m. for the weekly Mustard Seeds Moms & kids group, there's going to be a lot of cuteness with the theme for the week being All Saints' Day!

Bring your kiddos out dressed as their favorite Saint as they all take part in a Saint Parade and learn about the Communion of Saints!

Parishioners, as a reminder, the main church does NOT have electricity today (Monday, Oct. 26) until about 6 p.m.
However, we will still be on our regular schedule for 12:10 p.m. Mass -- it will just be a little darker, and for those who plan to assist at Mass today, make sure to sit up closer to the altar as there will be no microphones.

Also, the Chapel is still open as usual for Eucharistic Adoration. The main door from the parking lot to the Chapel lobby is propped open.

We apologize for the temporary inconvenience and appreciate your understanding!

Feligreses, la iglesia principal NO cuenta con electricidad hoy (lunes, 26 de octubre) hasta aproximadamente las 6:00 p. m.
Sin embargo, mantendremos nuestro horario habitual para la misa de las 12:10 p. m.; simplemente habrá menos iluminación. Quienes planeen asistir a la misa hoy, les pedimos que se sienten más cerca del altar, ya que no habrá micrófonos.

Asimismo, la capilla permanece abierta como de costumbre para la Adoración Eucarística. La puerta principal que da acceso al vestíbulo de la capilla desde el estacionamiento se encuentra abierta.

RENOVATION UPDATE: Please note, there are 2 upcoming scheduled electrical shutdowns of the main church building, which will impact the entire building, including the chapel. The first is Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., so there are no activities or meetings impacted by this.

The second electricity shutdown will take place Monday, Oct. 26. We will still have Mass (12:10 p.m.) and Eucharistic Adoration as scheduled despite the power outage that day, which will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. We apologize for the inconvenience!

As Fr. Andres announced at the end of Masses this past weekend, "Immaculata Presents" is hosting its first half-day Men's Program on Saturday, Nov. 7!

This comes after robust response by our parishioners to the semi-annual Women's Programs that have taken place over the past year.

Men of the parish -- as well as boys in fifth grade and up accompanied by an adult male -- are invited to take part in this half-day program centered on the theme, "The Titles of St. Joseph." Join us for talks that explore these titles of the Patron of the Universal Church, as he is our model of authentic manhood! (You do not have to be Catholic to attend.)

A funeral Mass for Paul Henry Couvillion, who passed away on October 11, 2026, will be celebrated Monday, October 19 at 10 a.m. in the Main Church.
Fr. Andres Gutierrez will be the celebrant.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
